Bastián Baltasar Bux, is a ten-year-old dreamer and motherless. He suffers from parental misunderstanding and bullying at school. One day, on the way to school, running away from his pursuers, he takes refuge in a second-hand bookstore belonging to the sullen Mr. Koreander. Considering it an intruder, capable of disturbing the peace of his reading, The Neverending Story is a book that the boy sneaks away adding a note to the owner.
Taking refuge in the attic of his school, skipping class, he enters the world of Fantasy, with its bizarre characters and is threatened by the inexorable advance of Nothingness, a nebula that destroys everything. Meanwhile, the infantile Empress gathers part of the delegates of the regions that form Fantasia: she will make a pact with the warrior Atreyu to save them. This, with his horse Ártax, and Bastián will live all his adventures. You will understand that your relationship with Atreyu and the work transcends a simple reading, since the survival of the Fantasy world depends on your responsibility.
