Abstract

Special Education was born with the aim of offering students who cannot achieve basic skills through ordinary schooling, an alternative to achieve their maximum development and quality of life.

We are currently immersed in a controversial debate about the need for these centers to exist, as we know them today: designed and created to promote the maximum development of students, taking into account the specific resources and organization of the schools. pampering.

Along these lines, the reader will be able to enter into the knowledge of the organization of this type of centers, characteristics of the students they serve and personalized resources to respond to the characteristics of all of them.
