Abstract

The article addresses the relevance of education for sustainable development and global citizenship (ESDCG) in our current societies as part of the response to global challenges. To make it a reality in the classrooms, issues such as the training of educators, the role of educational institutions, and the commitment of public administrations beyond legislation must be addressed. The 4.7 Movement works towards this goal, linking the educational field with political advocacy.
