The article deals with the competence of learning to learn. In this way, different
psychological theories related to learning are detailed. Thus, the authors make a first
overview of what learning entails, accompanied by the historical evolution of learning
models. Indeed, the authors add the fundamental characteristics of different approaches.
Finally, the author reflects on the characteristics that a teacher must fulfill within the
constructivist approach to learning.
