Abstract

The article explains how the school mediation program. e-AMEDIAR forms participatory citizens, who feels responsible for what happens in their social context and who are committed to improve it.

It is a peer school Mediation Program that includes among its educational objectives, the capabilities of improving social skills that enable students to be able to analyze the conflicts that happen around them, both in the intrapersonal environment, as in the interpersonal one with the other members of the educational community and the social facts and events that take place around them, in order to assume the personal commitment and the critical capacity to the conflicts that occur in all areas of their lifes.

Author Biography

Santiago Miranzo de Mateo

Licenciado en Derecho, Abogado, Mediador y Orientador Familiar y Escolar, Coach, ejerce desde el año 2000 como Mediador del Centro de Atención a las Familias del centro de formación Padre Piquer de Madrid, así como de Coordinador del mismo. Es Mediador y Orientador Familiar en el CAF de las Familias de la Comunidad de Madrid de Majadahonda. Profesor de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas Madrid en asignaturas de Conflictos y Mediación y de temática similar. Socio Director de CYMA Consultores. Ha impartido cursos en varias universidades, centros formativos, Asociaciones, entes públicos, etc. Sus áreas de investigación son el Derecho de familia, la resolución de conflictos, la mediación, el coaching, la violencia escolar, la Negociación, las habilidades sociales, la asertividad, la PNL, la Inteligencia Emocional. Es autor de varios blogs (http://cymaconsultoresblog.blogspot.com/) y artículos y monografías sobre las áreas citadas.
