At present, the psychological assessment is considered as a process of collection, analysis and evaluation of relevant information about the different elements involved in the teaching and learning, to identify the educational needs of certain students who have or may have mismatches related to personal development and / or academic with the aim of taking concrete decisions regarding the proposed curriculum and the type of support that may need to progress in the development of various capacities. However, in practice, the educational and psychological assessment is a challenging professional and personal of all specialists working in a team of educational psychologists and decision making, in most cases, result crucial for the student and family regarding their schooling. This article addresses important aspects in this process such as the description of the EOEP, the delineation of responsibilities and functions, and the main characteristics of the process of psychological assessment.Downloads
