Abstract

This article is about finding wich are the origins of the words humanism and education, wich are the true sense of the words. Thought-provoking, bringing the word from its earliest origins of Latin and Greek to today. From here derives the first humanistic pedagogical treatise by the hands of the young Pietro Paolo Vergerio. This treatise consists of two parts, and the purpose of the author is to explain with wich activities should young people endowed with good qualities learn and wich should they leave.
