Abstract

The Doctor (Randa Haines, USA, 1991, 117’), is the film in which this guide of educational intervention is based. It is the biography of a prestigious doctor who is insensitive to their patients. A serious illness will force him to be hospitalized, he had never lived this experience. Then he must suffer the same treatment he gave to his patients. When he overcomes his condition, he rejoins his work but his life will never be the same and their patients appreciate his humanity and professional recognition.

It shows an everyday situation experienced by all people who must travel by hospitals and consultations. At the same time, it opens the way to different social groups from various fields that pursue the achievement of a truly human medicine.

In addition to analyzing knowledge about cinema, health education, hospital and professional ethics education, besides emotional education and values such as respect and understanding.
