Abstract

Educational chess is a powerful pedagogical tool for the great educational benefits that all those who practice it obtain. It enriches the patterns of intellectual development directly affecting the increase of cognitive abilities. It considerably improves the academic results and influences in a very positive way in the integral, personal and professional development. All this is done in a playful way, being one of the most effective methods to maintain the motivation and interest of the students.
