The 2017 Family Report seeks to provide real data on families in Madrid and is a basic information to think about the agenda of challenges and proposals in protecting families. It also presents a monographic study on male fatherhood. The research shows the extent and intensity of households, networks and family institutions, and the strength of family life. It also shows the strength with which marital breakdowns and economic vulnerability impact the lives of adults and their children. The weight of economic difficulties depresses family activity, makes them more pessimistic, hinders the coexistence of couples, weakens ties and impoverishes commitments. The report also reveals a profound positive review of the paternity of men in the daily life of families, and a majority demand for equality and conciliation.Downloads
