Saint Joseph of Calasanz (1557-1648) open at Rome the first christian-popular school in the world. The calasanzian education model propose the integral grow and happiness of the pupil as the horizon in the pedagogical process.
The calasanzian school represent a new model: free education, graduality, integral and Christian identity for all pupils. The Pious Schools reaps today the Calasanz baton´s to change the world and the Church through the education.
