Resumen

El objetivo del presente trabajo es dar cuenta de la relevancia que ciertos aspectos mereológicos de las sustancias tienen para una adecuada comprensión de este tipo de entidades. Para esto, se expone en primer lugar, cómo ha sido analizada la noción de sustancia en el contexto del aristotelismo contemporáneo, para después advertir cierto cuestionamiento a este tipo de análisis. Posteriormente, motivado por tal cuestionamiento, se ofrece un marco de análisis mereológico-pluralista que busca fundamentar una forma distinta de definir la noción de sustancia.
