Michel Foucault delivered different points of view on his work. First, he conceived his books as a «Tool box». Later on, he said that his work was something like «explosive», and at the end of his life, he started to reconsider the activity of writing an activity for a liberating self-transformation. This study seeks to examine this different points of view in order to contribute for an assessment criterion for an evaluation of the uses of Foucault’s work in the present time.
