Keywords:
Gesinnungen, emotions, phenomenology, PfänderAbstract
Pfänder’s analysis of Gesinnungen represents first chapter of what would be called a «phenomenology of emotive conscience» or a «critique of affective reason». This early – unfortunately little known – phenomenologist offers a detailed analysis of special kind of experiences and tries also to show their moral significance. This paper points out the main elements of Pfänder’s contribution to a recovery of emotions moral relevance.Downloads
