Abstract

It is clear that the evolution of humanity throughout modern times has made available to the subject an enormous amount of resources able to improve their spiritual condition. Suffice it to refer to scientific development and the wealth of knowledge that has been available to people. The mechanism of the spiritual crisis we are witnessing is the process that has led to science, which has produced the disenchantment of the world, progress, increased goods and material gains, to try now to account also of the spiritual, making man’s own sense and the values that underpin their lives as the only way able to lend meaning and direction to get a sense of life. A variety of spiritualities are offered to our contemporaries as possibilities to realize the ideal of life to which they aspire to answer the riddle of their existence and their deepest longings. First religious pluralism has imposed on all human by the context of globalization and access to global consciousness and, later, by the extension of secular spirituality religions vying dealind with happiness and sense donation in a natural cosmos.
