"The same but different." Men and women: same rights, different personalities

Abstract

The thesis of this article, written by a woman who knows what she is talking about, is none other than the peaceful and methodical achievement of equality between men and women, women and men. Equality in what man and woman are and how they are different; equality that goes beyond the masculinization of women and their own denial of men. Equality that supposes, on the one hand, the recognition of the particularities of men and women and, on the other, a common support and effort, mainly at home and at work so that the wealth and particularities of men and women are shared and put at the service of the best cause. From this common effort, co-responsibility between men and women, a better conciliation between family and worklife and an openness and recognition of the values of the "other" will naturally emerge.
