Abstract

Entre los días 21 y 24 de marzo se celebró en Valencia el V Congreso sobre Migraciones en España. Con estas jornadas se pretendía conseguir varios objetivos: profundizar e incidir en el carácter de las migraciones como factor de desarrollo para nuestra sociedad; debatir y contrastar los resultados de las investigaciones más recientes sobre las migraciones, permitiendo el encuentro de los miembros de la comunidad científica; y analizar y reflexionar sobre el estado del fenómeno migratorio en el Estado español conjuntamente entre investigadores y actores de la sociedad civil. Como en otros congresos, algunos objetivos se consiguieron y otros no.
