Learning Humility from the Crisis

Abstract

Faced with superficiality, lack of authenticity and selfishness that affect today’s societies, the article proposes to cultivate humility as a remedy. First, after analyzing the concept in the Christian tradition, humility is defined as truth and delicacy. Then we delve into how the current crisis can be an occasion for learning this virtue in its two aspects, to end with the question about God and the key that humility brings to approach it.
