60th Anniversary of the boom of the Hispano-American Novel

Abstract

We are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the boom of the Hispano- American Novel. Using classical texts in the Castilian language and without claiming to be exhaustive, this article reflects on its narrative importance. On the basis of the bright lasting and the recognition of its first authors’ work, not only the boom would lead to a global and editorial phenomenon but to an essential and fertile contribution of Hispanic America to universal literature which relies on proper and authentic precedents.
