Among some of the most important topics developed by Professor Manuel Revuelta in his academic itinerary, we do not find biography as such. Professor Revuelta did not place any particular character in the center of his research. His approach was rather one of identifying those historical characters (mainly Jesuits) who most influenced the historical context that he was exploring. Understanding biography in its widest meaning (bio-graphy), this article focusses on «Revuelta as biographer» both to know the historical persons he studied as well as to grasp the rather original historical analysis which he conducted and by which he presented his «silent heroes».
