Abstract

Life expectancy today, due to medical, technological and social advances, has lengthened, so it is common to find many elderly people who, due to loneliness or isolation, feel little useful. This article offers a new vision of old age, a vision in which the elderly participate actively in today's society through various programs and activities in which families and schools can and should collaborate.
