Piaget devised conservation tests, which allowed him to study how children understand certain properties of objects. This study by Piaget, discussed by Ramón Núñez Centella, shows the clear transition from intuitive to logical thinking. Various examples illustrate how children gradually learn to reason and not be swayed by appearances.
