In this interview with biblical scholar Luis Alonso Schöckel, he reflects on the biblical meaning of family. A clear distinction is made between the family in the Old Testament and the family in the New Testament, where the concept of family is broadened. Schöckel addresses issues such as respect for parents, divorce, machismo and sexuality from a theological and human perspective.
