What happens when the educator is not well educated and is in charge of educating our children? Good question! Teaching is not easy, and children often express this with phrases directed at their teachers, which may be crude but contain a profound and accurate criticism. The teacher has sufficient knowledge of the subject, but lacks the resources to get the child to participate in that knowledge. Some teachers are inadequate because they have forgotten that they were once children themselves and that their subject has a lot to do with reality, which makes it unattainable for the child's intelligence. Others believe themselves to be infallible... A good teacher is one who learns from children every day, who humbly questions their own methods and who feels a deep love for the magical world that is childhood.
