The difficult coexistence, wars and historical expulsions in Spain and so many other countries have left their mark, which is sometimes difficult to deal with in racist incidents. It is important to ensure the integration of everyone, which requires the development of programmes that systematically help to make what is professed a reality. Here we offer some key points from the ‘Multicultural Education Programme’ presented by Social Education magazine. It highlights the following points: creating an intercultural environment, becoming aware that each culture learns in its own way and must develop its own values, education in conflict resolution and addressing the issue of racism in its various forms.
