Human beings behave in most of the times according to moral criteria prosocially assumed by society in which they live. However, sometimes they do without these criteria, inflict harm to others and still feel good and live with themselves. This article discusses, in the light of social cognitive theory, the mechanisms by which these actions are performed and concrete reflection on the possible moral disengagement in the case of teachers.Downloads
