Leading names in education: Lucien Laberthonnière

Abstract

Lucien Laberthonnière was a philosopher, theologian and French pedagogue from the last part of the 19^th century up to the beginnings of the 20^th century. In one of his first pedagogical writings, he regrets the fact that in the schools of the Oratorian congregation, to which he belonged, they were more interested in the demands of any catholic school than in the important pedagogical considerations.
