The personalization of teaching and learning has received considerable attention with the development of digital technologies and, more recently, with the advanced language models of AI. However, the personalization offered by a caring school goes far beyond this, because it focuses on a pedagogy of the person—that is, on a human relationship built on trust, respect, and interdependence.
