This article features a letter from Esther Charabati's work entitled ‘Letters Against Authority.’ Hernán describes his experience as a student and how some teachers, especially one, had a negative impact on him. We open a debate on the influence that a negative school image has on long-term personal choices and the importance of the opposite example: the value of the experience of satisfactory professional role models that a student encounters throughout their life.
