Abstract

The new ecology of learning involves a change in where and when to learn. The school remains an essential learning context, but  other informal settings are increasing their relevance . The need to learn goes  beyond the years of formal education. The different learning paths, which are now disconnected, should be integrated and be the basis for further personalization of learning. This new ecology involves changes to the school and family.
