Abstract

The text tells us about the experience and the evolution of a school regarding  the implementation of quality systems and patterns and what this represents for the school after 8 years of development. The topic is tackled, on the one hand, from the point of view of the management, organisation and the direction of the school, and on the other hand, from the strategic perspective towards the future. It also reviews what the model of excelency EFQM has brought in terms of school life and it presents the quality and excellence not as a goal to be achieved but as a neverending way.

  • José Mª. Carretero Bajo, , Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Chamartín
    Licenciado en Pedagogía y Ciencias de la Educación (especialidades de Orientación personal y grupal y Educación Especial), Profesor especialista en Ciencias Naturales, Ciencias Sociales y Educación Especial. Formación diversa en sistemas y modelos de calidad. Ejerce como profesor desde hace veintiocho años en el Colegio Sagrado Corazón de Chamartín (Madrid) en el que es además coordinador de calidad desde hace ocho años. Desde hace tres años es también coordinador del ámbito pedagógico de la Comisión de la RED de Colegios del Sagrado Corazón (Provincia Centro-Sur).
