Nicomachean Ethics and Magna Moralia: a comparison

The authorship of the Magna Moralia has divided scholars of the Aristotelian Corpus. Based on either philological or philosophical analysis, no consensus has been reached so far as to whether Aristotle wrote this ethical treatise. Without intending to resolve the discussion, the article aims to compare the aspects in which the Magna Moralia and the Nicomachean Ethics diverge in order to understand whether these disagreements can tip the scale in favor or against Aristotelian authorship.
