Abstract

The goal of this article is to explore the notion of love present in Søren Kierkegaard's The works of Love. For several reasons, this work has been ignored among the critical commentators of Kierkegaard. The author clarifies the foundations, the qualities and the expressions of the love according to Søren Kierkegaard's philosophy.

  • Francesc Torralba, Ramon Llull University
    Francesc Torralba estudió filosofía en la Universidad de Barcelona y teología en la Facultad de Teología de Catalunya. Posteriormente amplió estudios en la Universidad de Copenhaguen donde estudió la lengua danesa para escribir su tesis sobre el pensador Søren Kierkegaard. También realizó la licenciatura en Teología (1993) sobre la cristología de Kierkegaard y defendió su tesis doctoral en teología sobre el pensamiento antropológico del teólogo católico Hans Urs Von Baltasar (1997). En la actualidad es Profesor de la Universidad Ramon Llull de Barcelona e imparte cursos y seminarios en otras universidades de España y de Sudamérica.
