Abstract

As Hegel and Heidegger do, Adorno enphasizes the philosophical relevance of Art but, unlike them, he does it on the basis of the convergence of Art and Philosophy. That convergence, the nucleus of Adorno's Aesthetics, is founded on the dialectic discovered in a phenomenological way in aesthetic experience, and this constrains both Art and Philosophy to need each other.
