The metaverse is a hybrid ecosystem in which humans coexist with anthropomorphic systems endowed with artificial intelligence (AI), and in which humans are vulnerable. Reflecting on this coexistence, the text addresses several issues of current philosophical interest at the intersection of artificial intelligence, philosophical anthropology, rationality theory, and psychiatry. The article consists of two sections. The first describes eight forms of cybervulnerability: through hyperconnectivity, through neurodevelopmental drives, through appetitive control, through the illusion of knowledge, through cyberdeception, through cyberidentity, through epistemic injustice, and through cybervulnerability to cyberpathologies. The second section proposes ten recommendations for cyberprudence, articulated from Diego Gracia's theory of moral deliberation.
