Abstract

This article intends to show the most agustinian and humanistic spirit of Husserl’s phenomenology, which goes deeply into human subjectivity finding a non-worldly sense to its existence. In order to underline this aspect of Husserl’s philosophy it sets up a comparison between the phenomenological transcendental reduction and the method known as «vichara», taught by the masters of the advaita (or non-duality) school in India.
