Abstract

In the regulation of the relative competence of ecclesiastical tribunals, canon law introduces the forum of the connection of cases, forum whose interpretation and application at ecclesiastical courts presents some interesting questions. This work studies the forum of connection of cases in the matrimonial proceedings, with special attention to the debated question about its necessity for the parties and the judge.
