Abstract

Rahner and Balthasar, have each reflected in different ways on Europe and especially on its relationship with Christianity. The former left us his idea of Europe and the Christian Mission through his work as editor. The latter left us an explicit understanding about the reality of Europe developed from a philosophy and theology of history. Balthasar invites us to have a wide look over Europe; Rahner, to go into its reality in depth.
