Abstract

A year ago, in commemoration of the centenary of Father Suárez's birth, we had the honour of publishing an unpublished document by the eminent Granadian theologian. In this document, Father Suárez responded to the fifteen propositions posed by Pope Clement VIII as part of an effort to summarise the Augustinian doctrine of efficacious grace. We obtained this valuable perspective from an archive of documents, which is currently housed in the University of Granada Library under the reference Caja C 68, and which originally belonged to Father Esteban de Hojeda.
