Abstract

This article analyzes, from a devotional, cultural and cultic point of view, the presence and representation of the Virgin Mary within the aesthetic production of the Silver Age. Particular attention is paid to that symbolism that the Virgin Mary and her cult reached at a time of an intense debate between tradition and modernity, enhanced by the intellectual and artistic brilliance of this period.
