Abstract

The signs of the times have been a constant worry in the work of prof. Luis González-Carvajal. The present study analyzes two visions of the spiritual climate of our time: that of Michel Henry and that of the Nobel Prize of Literature Mario Vargas Llosa. The increasing disappearance of the ethics, the art and the religion goes to what the first one names barbarism; and the society of spectacle, of the second one, warns of the increasing banality of the current culture. This study ends up by contributing some tracks on how living through the faith in this context.

El profesor Pedro Rodríguez Panizo se doctoró en Teología en la Universidad Gregoriana de Roma en 1994. En el año 1994 comenzó su docencia en la Facultad de Teología de la Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Actualmente imparte los cursos de Teología Fundamental, Epistemología Teológica, Fenomenología de la Mística Comparada y Teología de las Artes de Ficción.
