Abstract

Andrés Torres Queiruga’s theory holds an important standing in the debate regarding the problem of evil. An essential element of his thinking revolves around the concept of man and the universe as being finite. Such a limitation is directly linked to the inevitability of evil. This article attempts to illustrate that creation should be understood as «created infinity» rather than simply finite and thus facilitate the resolution of certain difficulties surrounding the consideration of man in the here and now and his reaching out to a beyond extent where evil does not exist.
