The recent Concordat between the Holy See and Brazil is classified within the framework of that country’s Constitution and its two characteristics are pointed out: acknowledgement and protection of the human rights and in an especial way the right to religious freedom; the framework of the international concordat-governing current law code is described and the inspiring principles of the Concordat are pointed out.
