Jesus, the blessed man and Son of God: Intertextual-canonical reading of Ps 1 and 2 (II)
Keywords:
Torah, meditation, Jesus, resurrection, christologyAbstract
The present article is the continuation of the study on Ps 1 and 2 from an intertextual-canonical reading. In this second part we study the reception and interpretation that these two Psalms have had in the New Testament. The aim is to obtain a more wide understanding of Ps 1 and 2 according to this reception. Ps 1 is not mentioned explicitly in the New Testament but in the light of the Gospels and the Letter to Romans it can be read from christian perspective. Ps 2, on the other hand, it is one of most mentioned in the New Testament and has played a role very important in the New Testament christology.
