According to some experts, the expression «exterior castle», used by Chiara Lubich, is a totally new one in the history of christian spirituality, although it is evident its reference to the «interior castle» of St. Teresa of Avila. ¿How and When does it emerge in the works of this author? ¿What is its theological and spiritual meaning?
