Abstract

In September 2006 the Pope declassified all the documents of the Vatican Archives corresponding to the Pontificate of Pius XI (1922-1939). Three months later V. Cárcel Ortí published the reports of the Visitation that the Holy See did to the Spanish Seminaries in 1934. They reflect the point of view of the three Visitors. Among these reports is the one done on Comillas which is here placed in its own context, published, annotated and commented.
