Trinitarian Faith as a Response to Modern Atheism
Keywords:

This article presents a personal reading of Gaudium et Spes (GS) forty years after its proclamation. Two perspectives are offered in this reading: first, a theological-dogmatic perspective; and, secondly, a special focus on the Trinitarian mystery, confessed by Christians as the light which is able to illuminate the deepest level of the mystery of existence. The article is divided in three parts: in the first part a justification for this change of perspective is offered; the commitment to atheism is briefly analyzed in the second part. And, finally, this question is studied from the perspective of Trinitarian Theology, especially from Hans Urs von Balthasar’s theology.Downloads
