La «esencia del cristianismo» en los comienzos: Una reflexión

Resumen

La presente reflexión interroga al Nuevo Testamento acerca de lo que constituye la «esencia del cristianismo». Comienza constatando la centralidad de Jesucristo, a quien sus primeros seguidores consideraban cimiento y piedra angular. A continuación, observa que las confesiones pascuales en las que se asienta esta convicción no sólo dicen algo sobre Jesús, sino que también afirman algo sobre Dios, cuya imagen queda modificada al confesar a Jesús como Hijo y Señor. Esta nueva imagen de Dios aparece así como el rasgo más distintivo del cristianismo en los orígenes.
