In the profuse educational debate, there is no shortage of references to the need to optimize student learning in scientific disciplines. In the network of EDUCSI centres, it was possible to verify a certain anomaly in scientific learning with respect to other areas based on the PISA tests. In order to have evidence, a mixed study was carried out, with elements of both quantitative and qualitative educational research in two centres in the Eastern Zone of EDUCSI.
