In an increasingly interconnected yet profoundly unequal world, today’s youth face challenges that transcend borders—climate change, forced migration, economic inequality, and social fragmentation. Education, therefore, must go beyond local frameworks, fostering global perspectives and critical thinking. Internationalizing education means building equitable, horizontal relationships between the Global North and South, recognizing shared interdependence, and empowering young people as agents of transformation. This approach promotes cooperation, cultural diversity, and collective action to address global issues and shape a more just and sustainable future.
